Chattanooga, TN- McMahan Law Firm recently settled a two-year case where a 40-year-old man was injured in a car wreck due to someone else’s careless actions. Lead attorney Brent Burks was able to fight for the rights of his client and receive a verdict of about $82,000 on a zero offer.  The defendant was driving on a Tennessee roadway when he or she swerved to avoid hitting another vehicle on the road and instead hit the claimant. The claimant suffered primarily neck and back injuries, which required nine months of treatment that included physical therapy and chiropractic care. Two years after the accident, he still had not received any settlement offers. The defendant claimed that the wreck was another drivers’ fault.
